Geo-Hydro provides services in four main areas: geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, construction materials testing, and special inspection. Our capabilities include subsurface drilling investigations, seismic refraction surveys, test pit studies, as well as many other geotechnical engineering investigations that can be tailored to the specific needs of your project. We have extensive experience in the varying aspects of construction materials testing including soil, concrete, masonry, and asphalt quality control testing, footing excavation testing, and structural steel testing. We are especially familiar with the requirements for Special Inspections as outlined in Chapter 17 of the International Building Code. Our environmental division provides a full range of services including Phase I environmental site assessments, Phase II testing and groundwater monitoring, NPDES sampling and monitoring, and asbestos and lead assessments
