The mission of the Cobb Collaborative is educating, engaging and empowering the community to improve the well-being of children and families. Established in 1997, the Cobb Collaborative is the local Georgia Family Connection partner, a statewide network of organizations working to improve outcomes for children and families. Our organization accomplishes this work in Cobb by educating and engaging partners and providing resources for organizations addressing major issues like healthcare, reading proficiency, homelessness, food insecurity and more in our community. We facilitate opportunities for community organizations to join forces to fill service gaps and inefficiencies preventing progress, raise awareness of programs and services available, and mobilize these organizations to continue to fulfill their missions with a high level of fidelity by providing vital capacity building resources. Our partners include nonprofit organizations, local governments, businesses, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, professional organizations, civic associations and engaged citizens. Using the collective impact model, we are able to leverage this partner network to amplify our work and foster collaboration.

We reach thousands of Cobb County stakeholders each year through our programs, services and activities. Interested in learning more or joining us? Visit us at www.cobbcollaborative.org or sign up for our newsletter.
