I really liked Jimmy'z Kitchen!
I stopped by to have some appetizers and drinks, and I'll definitely be returning for dinner.
We had the crab beignets and the Cuban spring rolls- they were both really good. I also had a rum punch drink- it was delicious.
The staff were all really friendly, and the restaurant's vibe was nice.
I can't wait to try their dinner offerings.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Ramon V.Roswell, GA013Mar 27, 2022
As a Latin American family, we are very used to our family dinner time because that is who we are. However, today, we decided to do it at Jimmy's Kitchen...
Many blessings to my good friend Sharon who recommended us to stop by and enjoy the amazing place.
The combination of good quality ingredients and the perfectly managed cooking time make you value the great job done by the chef. However that is not all. The great quality food prepared and served at this place is matched with an unparalleled service and atmosphere. This is not just a simple restaurant. You are eating at your best friends' place. They make you feel that way.
I can't wait to see you guys soon and start building some great memories...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Julie V.Dallas, GA24898Apr 2, 2022
I didn't feel like cooking today. Specifically was craving Puerto Rican food but that is a long shot in the metro Atlanta area. My husband started searching and this restaurant caught our attention. What a great choice!!!
It's puerto Rican fusion. The owners were very kind and the service was great.
We ordered :
Salad
Cheese and chicken empanadas
Cheese balls with guava sauce
Mofongo with pork with white rice and black beans on the side
Chimichurri steak
Wine
Pomegranate margarita
Maduros sweet plantains
Flan and coffee
Everything was delicious...very flavorful.
Only a few things:
Tostones were not crunchy.
...believe me that was the only thing. All else was on point! We will return.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 1, 2022
AH-MAY-ZING! I say, skip the Battery and go to Jimmy'z. Ever since we went to Puerto Rico, I've been obsessed with Churrasco and Jimmy'z did NOT disappoint. It's a bit more pricey than I was expecting, but 100% worth it. The empanadas were nice and crispy, super flavorful. The Churrasco Steak Mofongo was cooked perfectly. The creole was delicious and really complemented the Churrasco. We didn't get to try the Pimento Cheese Balls, so we will definitely be back! Service was amazing and the vibe is a good balance of casual but upscale dining.

A true hidden gem on Windy Hill! I randomly found this restaurant on a food delivery site (can't remember which one) and opted to do the pick up in restaurant. The parking lot is small but parking is free. The owners are super nice and the restaurant is very cute inside. I've never been there when there was a crowd but they seem to do well with spacing out the customers. The food is so good omg. The first time I ordered I got the pork mofongo, not my favorite, I'm big on texture and this wasn't for me. My friend ordered the same and she loved it. Every time after that I opt for the Pork Mojo Entree which is served with rice and it is always so good, I substitute the beans for extra rice and I also order a side of the cucumber tomato salad. Listen this place is definitely worth a try! Highly recommend.

My girlfriend is Dominican-born, so I am very familiar with some good home prepared mofongo. I've been used to a traditional, with chicken and a red sauce, and that has always won for me. Now when I saw shrimp and creole sauce, I jumped lol.
Great flavors! And while I can never say anyone's mofongo is better than my girlfriend's, you guys did well. Visiting from NYC, it was refreshing to see a Latin presence in my old town of Atlanta. The server was also very nice and attentive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 17, 2021
What a great find! Delicious food, great ambiance & decor, awesome service. We tried a whole bunch of stuff and brought dessert home. Everything was very tasty! The drink, Poncho Loco, so good & refreshing! The ceviche was ON POINT! I didn't care for the sweet potato that came with it, next time I'll ask for plantain strips instead. The pork belly, something new for us, was delish, and it came with plantain strips that made us feel like we were back home in PR. Cheese balls & crab croquettes were divine. The steak was perfectly cooked. Next time I would ask for no creole sauce: that was a little overwhelming. Our waiter was super sweet and very attentive. I give this place a two thumbs up! We will definitely be back!

Check it out, Jimmy'z Kitchen is a fabulous new addition to the neighborhood, located on Windy Hill Rd. in Marietta, just east of Cobb Parkway. Chef Jimmy Carey and wife Camille, recently moved from Miami and opened their Latin fusion restaurant about a month ago.
I stopped in for a late lunch and everyone was super friendly and the staff all worked together to make my dining experience very enjoyable. I spent a very long time chatting with Chef Jimmy and Camille and they are both the nicest people you would ever want to meet and are super passionate about their food!
Speaking of their food, the pork mofongo "Cuban style" with the sour orange marinade was crazy delicious, I seriously wanted to eat the sauce as a soup. The pork was juicy, tender and flavorful, and the mofongo was out of this world wonderful!! I had the lunch portion and it was HUGE. After eating the super fresh side salad that came with the meal, I only managed to finish just about half of the pork & mofongo, and brought the rest home to enjoy for a second lunch. I was told that the dinner portion was close to double in size and perfect for sharing. Though they won't split the mofongo portion into separate plates, they don't penalize you and they don't charge a sharing fee if you choose to share your mofongo, in fact they encourage it!
I was told that the pimento cheese fritters were a Chef specialty and the guava cheesecake was calling my name, so a return visit is very much in the near future for me!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Nay M.North Miami, FL42420Nov 23, 2022
